Scout Sunday 2007
Scout Sunday is celebrated around Scouting's anniversary (February 8th) and gives our Scouts an opportunity to be reverent and do their duty to God. By participating in Mass at our Parish and getting involved in service to our community, our boys also get a chance to show our community the good things they are doing.
Our boys helped out at 9:30am Mass as ushers, greeters, lectors, gift bearers, and altar servers. We also had a ceremony during Mass where some Webelos Scouts were presented with their Parvuli Dei religious awards by Fr. John.
Scouts cleaned out the flower beds of leaves, sticks, plastic plant stakes, trash, and big weeds. The garden at the Southeast corner of the church looks great!. Scouts and their families also hosted Coffee & Donuts after all three Masses, and the Scouts did a great job of keeping the refreshment tables well-stocked and keep the hall neat and tidy.
