2007 Spring Campout

In June, our Pack went on a campout at Lake Sammamish State Park. We stayed in the "Hans Jensen" group campsite which was huge, very beautiful, and perfect for our active Scouts. We were able to have squirt gun fights, launch rockets as part of the Webelos Engineer requirements, hike up and down the trails and creek bed, and even get in a little archery and BB gun shooting. It was fantastic to see all of our Webelos II Scouts earn their Arrow of Light awards and cross-over to become Boy Scouts. Some older Boy Scouts from Troop 282 there to welcome our boys into their Troop and help in the ceremonies.

Of course we had some tasty roadkill campfood, had a fun campfire with hilarious skits, and gave out tons of well-earned awards. If you missed this event, hopefully, the photos below will give you an idea of what you missed and get you primed for our next outing.
